Shelley Caine

Shelley joined the firm in 1994 and was appointed as a Manager in 1998. She now works closely with Iain Painter, one of the CJ Partners.

Alongside Iain, Shelley is closely involved with Shropshire’s farming community, and she is constantly developing new skills to ensure that she continues to meet the needs of this interesting client base.

Shelley’s inter-personal skills are put to good use in the Shrewsbury office. She is often called upon to organise workloads to ensure that deadlines are met and the CJ client base is handled efficiently. She also helps Iain run the popular Knighton Office - a convenient drop-in facility that provides a face-to-face service for clients in mid-Wales and South Shropshire.

Shelley is married and lives in Bridgnorth where she and her husband are currently landscaping their large garden. Shelley also enjoys swimming and independent foreign travel.


Helen Pierce

Helen qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994 and joined Caerwyn Jones as audit manager in 1998. Her portfolio encompasses a diverse range of clients including sole traders and partnerships and in her capacity as audit manager she is responsible for a large range of incorporated clients. She is also responsible for the more complex regulated clients including solicitors, charities and housing associations.

Helen expertise in audit matters has proved invaluable to colleagues at CJ as she controls and maintains our internal procedures to ensure that the company remains up to date with standards set by the Audit Practices Board. She is also responsible for ensuring that all partners and staff meet their own continued professional development needs.

Caerwyn Jones is a training firm for young students wishing to gain their qualification as Chartered Accountants, Helen acts as mentor to these students. She ensures that they meet their training obligations, advises the best course of training for their advancement and supports them in their studies.

Born in Cheshire, Helen now lives with her husband and daughter in Four Crosses, Llanymynech where they act as host family for foreign students. She also enjoys line dancing and cruising the world.


Donna Robb

Donna joined Caerwyn Jones in 2007 after attaining her degree in accounting and finance from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. She then trained through Caerwyn Jones to qualify as a chartered accountant in 2010.

Donna has been involved in all aspects of the work undertaken within the firm from accounts preparation, taxation and auditing.

Donna lives in Shrewsbury with her husband. Donna enjoys foreign holidays, films and eating out. She is also often in the stands at the Wigan Warriors rugby matches.


Clare Haddon

Clare joined the firm in 2004 as a university student on a one year placement. After gaining her degree in accounting and finance from the University of Wolverhampton she went on to qualify as a chartered accountant in 2009 training through Caerwyn Jones.

As well as heading up the VAT department Clare is involved in both accounts and audit and will often be seen at the firms Welshpool office where clients are able to drop in their records on Mondays.

Clare lives in Broseley with her partner and enjoys eating out and walking her very energetic dog Luna.
